Hello I was dg with Polymyositis in 1999 since then I have had to have a liver transplant. I have skin cancers all over my body. Gallbladder surgery, some of my large intestines removed.I’m on 11 rx I often wonder what next.I can’t get in the tub because I can’t get out my one true relaxing thing.I can’t climb stairs or do alot of walking.I give out so easy. All of this is madding because I have always been active and waited on people all my life which gave me pleasure. Now I’m in pain every day and that makes me grumpy.I have tried to find people with polymyositis online to talk to but I only find things back 6 to 7
years ago. Can you please tell me of a site that is up to date with people now 2012. Thank you for your time Brenda
Brenda, we have a site called Connect where people can start or join discussions. You might want to check into it and look for an ongoing discussion or start one. Best wishes. http://www.mayoclinic.org/connect/?rss-feedid=22
