My husband has been diagnosed with tumors of the kidneys. Can you tell my something about the procedures and treatment for this. what questions we should ask the surgeon? thank you.

My husband’s CT scan found a 18mm low density tumor in his upper right kidney. He would rather have it removed then go through the biopsy process.
What next steps/action would you recommend?
