Hundreds of thousands of people go to the emergency room every year because of problems with medications they’re taking, such as accidental overdoses, side effects and bad interactions. Pharmacists at Mayo Clinic are tying to change that. They’ve started a new program that helps people manage their medications safely and as cost-effectively as possible.
